Gunnebo China awarded ISO Integrated Management System Certification

By having ISO IMS Certification, Gunnebo China proves its commitment to meet the needs of customers through an effective integrated management system.

In the process to become ISO IMS-compliant, Gunnebo China team underwent an extensive audit that included quality, environment and occupational health and safety management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, customer site witness audit and clearance of minor non-conformities.

The ISO certification awarded to Gunnebo China includes:

• Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015)
• Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015)
• Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018)

As a part of ISO IMS, certification to ISO 45001:2018, the successor to OHSAS 18001, is only possible after we moved to the new plant as it meets all the conditions and certifications as the pre-requirement to ISO 45001:2018.

The ISO 45001:2018 published in March 2018 by the International Organisation for Standardisation body (ISO), confirms excellence and good practices in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This new standard puts special emphasis on prevention systems and on the companies´ global commitment for the development of a culture of prevention and continuous improvement in this field. ISO 45001 also covers a wider scope than OHSAS 18001, with stakeholders including all internal or external parties who are directly or indirectly affected by the organization’s health and safety management issues.

Certification to ISO 45001:2018 is a testament to Gunnebo’s commitment to provide safe working conditions for our employees and people exposed by our activities.

Obtaining this certification demonstrates that we can perform to the highest standard of occupational health and safety despite of challenges amid the new working site and the pandemic
